Surface Go 3 leaks reveal specs of Microsoft's new tablet

Microsoft's Surface Go three briefly appeared on the Thai retailer Shopee's website. The folks at WinFuture were able to check out the specs of the device before the listing was taken down. The information from the retail listing lines up with what we've previously reported likewise as suspected Geekbench results.

The principal takeaway from the listing is that the Surface Get 3 should ship with either Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y or Intel Core i3-10100Y processors. The Pentium Gold 6500Y is a pregnant step up from the Pentium Gilded 4425Y in the Surface Go 2. Both chips that will ship with the Surface Go 3 are Bister Lake Y processors, which aren't as powerful every bit 11th Gen Tiger Lake chips.

Assuming the list is accurate, the external blueprint of the Surface Go 3 appears to be largely unchanged compared to the Surface Get 2. The Surface Go 3 still lacks PCIe, which some had hoped for.
